Online Business Start Up Class
This online course is for individuals interested in learning about starting a business but who may have travel or other commitments that make it difficult to take a class in a classroom setting. The course is taught over a four week period and covers the following small business topics:
- qualities of an entrepreneur
- types of legal entities
- resources for small businesses
- marketing tools/websites
- BAIL team
- importance of having a business plan
- explanation of financial statements
- financing your business
The course will provide you with a business plan format and you will be asked to create a short business plan using that format. There will be other reading and writing assignments and the instructor will be available via email to answer any questions. The online course is taught through the Angel program.
